These Terms explain the rules for using the RunwayCal website, application, workspaces, and related services. They describe the current service, customer responsibilities, commercial boundaries, and the rules that apply when you use RunwayCal.
1. Operator and scope
RunwayCal Technologies Pvt. Ltd. operates RunwayCal. These Terms apply when you visit the website, create or use an account, join a workspace, buy a self-serve plan, or otherwise use a RunwayCal service that refers to them.
If you use RunwayCal for an organization, references to you include that organization where the context requires it. Enterprise services may also be described in commercial terms agreed directly with the customer.
2. What RunwayCal provides
RunwayCal is a connected financial planning operating system for growing businesses. It connects supported information about cash and runway, commitments, revenue, teams, budgets, scenarios, reporting, and reviewed or imported data so customers can understand the financial consequences of a decision.
RunwayCal provides software, calculations, planning workflows, and product information. It does not provide financial, accounting, legal, investment, or tax advice and does not replace the professionals or source systems a business needs.
4. Accounts and workspace access
Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and notify RunwayCal promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share a personal sign-in in a way that bypasses workspace membership or access controls.
Workspace owners and people with administrative access are responsible for inviting appropriate users, assigning suitable permissions, and removing access that is no longer needed. RunwayCal may rely on a valid workspace instruction until it has reason to believe the instruction is unauthorized or unsafe.
5. Customer data, inputs, and review
You retain rights in the business, financial, and personal information you provide. You must have the authority to provide, upload, import, connect, or instruct RunwayCal to process that information. You permit RunwayCal and its service providers to handle it as needed to provide, secure, support, and administer the features you choose to use.
You are responsible for reviewing source data, mappings, assumptions, approvals, calculations, and outputs before relying on them. Recorded, expected, planned, and hypothetical values can have different meanings. The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
6. AI-assisted and reviewed workflows
Some supported workflows may use AI to suggest extracted fields, mappings, classifications, or other reviewable content. A suggestion is not automatically an approved financial record. The user remains responsible for reviewing and approving the result before it enters the relevant financial workflow.
Deterministic calculations based on explicit inputs and rules are not presented as AI predictions. These Terms do not make an unverified promise about model training; the applicable processing arrangement and Privacy Policy govern that boundary.
7. Plans, subscriptions, and billing changes
Free has no subscription fee. Pro and Growth are recurring self-serve plans offered with monthly or annual billing. Enterprise availability and charges are agreed directly. Founding is a limited-time $999 one-off purchase that provides a three-year Pro-level term. Current prices, limits, and included features are published on the Pricing page and shown in the relevant checkout or billing flow.
A paid self-serve upgrade takes effect after the required payment succeeds. A plan reduction is scheduled for the next billing date. Canceling a recurring plan keeps paid access through the current paid period, after which the workspace moves to Free. A refunded, expired, suspended, or otherwise terminal paid subscription can also move to Free. When a payment is past due, the billing provider may retry it and paid access may remain available during that retry state.
Reducing a plan does not itself delete workspace data, but entries or locations beyond the new plan limit may become read-only. RunwayCal does not publish a universal automatic refund right. Contact us before purchase if refund terms are material to your decision. The payment provider handles the transaction; taxes and the final charge are shown at checkout where applicable.
8. Connected services
A supported integration works within the provider-specific authorization and data boundary described by RunwayCal and the provider. You authorize RunwayCal to exchange the supported information needed for the connection and must follow the provider's terms and privacy rules.
Providers can change, interrupt, or withdraw their services. Disconnecting a provider removes the local connection credential for supported paths, but provider-side revocation may also be required. Review the current Integrations and documentation pages before relying on a connection.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use RunwayCal to:
- break the law, violate another person's rights, or process data you are not authorized to use;
- gain or attempt unauthorized access to an account, workspace, provider connection, system, or data;
- bypass access, plan, usage, security, or rate controls;
- interfere with service integrity or availability, or upload malware or harmful code;
- use abusive automation, scraping, or request patterns that harm the service or other customers;
- misrepresent your identity, authority, source data, or relationship to another organization; or
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service without written permission.
10. Intellectual property
RunwayCal and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, website, product design, documentation, and brand. These Terms give you a limited right to use the service for your authorized business purpose while your access remains valid. They do not transfer ownership of the service to you.
RunwayCal does not claim ownership of customer financial data merely because it is entered, uploaded, imported, or processed through the service.
11. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide product feedback or suggestions, RunwayCal may use them to evaluate and improve the service without an obligation to implement or pay for them. Do not include confidential customer data or third-party material you are not authorized to share.
12. Service changes
RunwayCal may add, refine, replace, or retire features as the product develops, including when a provider dependency changes. We aim to explain material customer-facing changes through the website, product, billing flow, or an appropriate communication channel. This section is not a promise that RunwayCal can remove material paid functionality without regard to an active plan or separately agreed commitment.
13. Availability and dependencies
RunwayCal depends on internet access and third-party infrastructure, authentication, payment, email, integration, and processing providers. Maintenance, faults, provider changes, or events outside reasonable control can interrupt access. RunwayCal does not publish an uptime SLA or promise uninterrupted operation on this page. 14. User decisions and product outputs
Calculations and reports depend on the source data, timing, assumptions, approvals, and product settings used. Expected revenue is not received cash, a scenario is not a prediction, and an output is not a guarantee of a financial result. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding whether to act on them.
15. Suspension and termination
You may stop using RunwayCal or cancel a recurring self-serve plan through the available billing workflow. RunwayCal may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address non-payment, unlawful or abusive use, an account or security risk, a material breach of these Terms, or a provider requirement that prevents safe operation.
Where practical, the response should be proportionate to the problem. Access restoration depends on the cause being resolved. Account closure and deletion remain subject to the authority, retention, backup, legal, and security boundaries described in the Privacy Policy.
16. Service disclaimers
RunwayCal is provided as business planning software within the features and boundaries described in the product, website, documentation, and applicable plan. No software can eliminate every error, interruption, security risk, third-party dependency, or uncertainty in business planning. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Liability framework
These Terms do not set a monetary liability cap or add a broad exclusion of damages, indemnity, arbitration requirement, or class-action waiver. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or liability that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude.
A governing-law, dispute-resolution, or additional liability framework will apply only when it is published or agreed in approved terms.
18. Changes to these Terms
RunwayCal may update these Terms when the service, commercial model, or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. A material change may also be communicated through the website, application, or another appropriate channel. A change takes effect when the updated Terms are published unless a later date is stated.
