Alerts & Insights is not a second command center. It evaluates supported operating data and places relevant conditions inside Mission Control and notification surfaces, with a direct route back to the source.
Detect a condition
A supported value, threshold, or comparison is evaluated from current product data.
Explain why it surfaced
The signal carries a severity, plain-language context, and a route back to its source.
Support human review
The operator inspects the underlying workflow and decides what, if anything, should change.
A signal can identify a condition and offer fixed rules-based guidance. It cannot replace investigation, judgment, or approval.
Three distinct objects
Alert, insight, and notification are related, not interchangeable.
The current product uses deterministic logic across these surfaces. Public copy should describe the behavior instead of promising a fixed rule count that can drift as the implementation changes.

A deterministic condition such as a runway threshold, material month-over-month change, due obligation, or overdue expected receipt.

A rules-based observation paired with fixed explanatory guidance and a related product area. The guidance is not generated advice.

Traceable ownership
Every useful signal should lead back to a supported source.
The signal layer reads from current product data. It does not become a parallel ledger or edit the originating record. Runway, costs, revenue, tax, and integration health remain owned by their respective workflows.

The existing Actionable Insights capture is current but visually weak and may preserve stale labels. A new capture should show a reviewed fictional state, its deterministic context, and a visible source destination without presenting a rule as AI advice.
